Parish Endowment Fund
The Parish Endowment Fund was created in 1996 to support programs that align with the mission and vision of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in WDM - Sharing the good news of God's Love through Active Apostleship. The Sacred Heart Parish Endowment Fund is dedicated to establish permanent long-term funding, whereby only interest income is used for spiritual or physical needs of the parish. Funds are held in accordance with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' (USCCB) Investing principles.Home and School Endowment Fund
The Home and School Endowment Fund was created in 2004 to support
academic excellence at Sacred Heart School. The interest generated from this fund can be used for (but is not limited to) enhanced curriculum, technology, materials, supplies, and teacher development, as well as classroom programs. The fund may also be used for capital improvements required at the school. Funding sources consist of individual contributions from friends and family of Sacred Heart as well as proceeds from Home & School fundraisers.Scholarship Endowment Fund
This fund was created in 2005 to help support the cost of Catholic Education within our Community. The annual income generated from this fund specifically supports scholarships awarded to Sacred Heart School students to offset the cost of school tuition. Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of Sacred Heart School.Jerry Kinney Endowment Fund
The Jerry Kinney Band Endowment Fund was created in 2003 in celebration for Mr. Kinney's 50th Anniversary as a Band Instructor. This interest generated by this fund is used to support the Sacred Heart School band program, primarily through scholarships for students participating in the band but also as a funding source for other band expenditures such as new instruments.

Our Endowment funds are for the very long-term benefit of the Sacred Heart Church and School. The objective of these resources is to provide resources in the form of interest income never touching the initial investments. Contributing to an Endowment fund truly makes your contributions perpetual. Build your legacy at Sacred Heart by contributing to its long-term financial health. We have four diverse Endowments for you to choose from at Sacred Heart. All of them are managed by the Catholic Foundation of Southwest Iowa. Funds are invested in accordance with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishop Investing principals. Use of funds is approved by the Endowment Committee and Finance Council.
