ADULT BAPTISM If you are an adult wanting to receive your own Baptism, you must undergo a period of preparation before receiving the Sacrament. This preparation is called the catechumenate and is designed to bring the faith of the candidate to maturity. Through the process, the catechumen is exposed to the life of faith, the liturgy and the love of the people of God through the rites of initiation. CLICK HERE to learn more about becoming Catholic.
