Confirmation

Bishop William Joensen, as the chief teacher and shepherd of our Diocese, recently sent a message to all of the faithful in our Diocese about a major change in the sacramental life of the Church of central and southwest Iowa. The age for the celebration of the sacrament of Confirmation is moving over a three-year period beginning in 2027 from high school to 6th grade.
